Basé à Leipzig, l'Allemand a ainsi pu démontrer toute l'étendue de sa culture musicale et son exigence en matière de deep underground.

Gage de qualité et crédibilité, le label allemand est devenu une vraie référence dans le milieu underground, avec des artistes comme Marlow, Martinez, Luna City Express, Sven Tasnadi, Ekkohaus, Dan Drastic, Italoboyz, Kabale Und Liebe, Sossa ou encore Zohki & Roozlee...
En créant cette famille d'artistes talentueux, Matthias Tanzmann s'est affirmé comme le chef de file d'une deep-house pure et contagieuse. Du coup, sa carrière de DJ a elle aussi décollé, d'autant plus facilement qu'il est à la base un excellent DJ. C'est d'ailleurs derrière les platines du club 'Distillery' de Leipzig que tout a commencé pour lui.
Agitateur de dancefloors, Tanzmann a ainsi parcouru le monde entier pour livrer sa vision de la House, portée sur le groove et la sensibilité musicale. Auteur de nombreuses bombes, souvent jouées par tous les papes de la deep-techno, mais aussi par les DJ's les plus ouverts d'esprit comme Pete Tong.
En 2006, Matthias Tanzmann, a sorti 'Restless', son premier album acclamé par les critiques. Sa dernière compilation mixée a été réalisée pour la célèbre série de compilations du club anglais Fabric, même si c'est à travers les compilations mixées CircoLoco pour le compte du DC10 Ibiza que Tanzmann a fait le plus parler de lui et des soirées du même nom. En effet, depuis 2007, il est l'un des résidents indiscutables du célèbre After référence pour les amoureux d'underground...
Fort d'une vraie notoriété internationale, Matthias Tanzmann a aussi eu l'occasion de remixer des artistes comme Booka Shade, Moby et 2000 and One.
Plutôt du genre discret et patient, l'Allemand conserve un esprit underground, loin d'être du genre hyper-productif.
